Justice Lifts the Nations
Shouts for Justice have certainly increased in the past few months. But just where can we find the practical solutions to the many problems that plague the modern, human condition? Lady Justice (as you can see with her sword) points to the written word.
Located on the Blue-Mile and just two blocks from downtown, Two Story hopes to complement Statesboro’s ambitious Blue-Mile project and to help revitalize its downtown culture.
While much has happened to get this project started (property purchase, preemptive zoning approval, and already some ~3000 books donated), Two Story is still largely in the works. We plan to be open as a brick-and-mortar book shop in the Fall of 2022.
What would you like to see in a local bookstore?
One of the great features of Indie Bookstores (long-lasting ones that is) is that they cater specifically to the community they exist within. Statesboro, with its family-first culture, its rapidly growing size, and a university which plays host to some 20,000 students, is long overdue for a vibrant indie bookstore. With that said, what would you hope to see as part of the store? Email ideas to: email@example.com
